I can relate to Hadijah's definition of "yummy sweet", although I myself would not use that term. It is the values that parents from our part of world (Malay archipelago) would instill in their daughters getting married... "serve the husband well and treat him with full respect" sort of thing.

Now that I am much older and married I think the term in question here is funny. I think if I were younger/not married and anyone would dare to expect that of me, I would electrocute them alive... lol.

Who are we to describe something silly about anyone when expressing something in linguistic form of communications, how to be polite when we keep on saying this or whom being silly...

I think it makes sense to me when I describe you being silly for always being confuse and try not to understand, its obviously nothing in my society, even for a professional lecturer in any health institutions in Singapore. Is your society really that polite? Or you are still confuse now?
