Al Muhsinaat’s ‘Foundation Certificate’ is a curriculum of study that exposes students to a variety of Islamic sciences including:


· Explanations of chapters of the Qur’an (tafsir)


· Qur’anic intonation (tajwid)


· Prophetic traditions (hadith)


· Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh)


· Character building (ihsan)


· Islamic Beliefs (‘aqidah)


· Biography of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and Pious women of the Past (Allah be pleased with them)

40 Principles on the Foundations fo Religion (4 chapters: Aqidah/Outer Acts/Science of heart/Praiseworthy traits)

Fiqh (purity/worships/food and drink/clothing)

Surah Yusuf tafsir

Venue: 26a Mansfield Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 6PG

Timings: Every Sunday Islamic Studies 8.15am – 11. 15am | Tajwid 11.30am – 1.30pm

Course Fee: £300 for Islamic Studies (2 semesters – 30 weeks) , £50 per module for Tajwid (each module 12 weeks)

Description: The aim of the course is to teach the essential sciences that will equip students with the requisite knowledge of how to live as a Muslim in the modern world in a manner that is applicable and easy to understand.

Lessons are taught by female teachers being tailored for sisters, and the regularity of the classes is an ideal way to gain a deeper insight into the relevant sciences. The classes are ideal for those who work or study in the week; a course that can easily be balanced with other commitments.

Upon successful completion of the course students will be issued a certification in ‘Foundational Islamic Sciences’.
