It's too long to post all of it, but I found it a good read. I'm more inclined to join in with Mehdi's point of view than Nawaz's, who just so happens to have a book out. I read his friend Ed Hussain's books so I can't imagine it being any different.

It's frightening how many politicians in the past - Blair number one - completely refuse to acknowledge the link between foreign policy decisions and terrorist attacks. Even when Siddique Khan cited it as the reason for the 7/7 attacks, it was diverted to "they hate our way of life" angle by the MP's.
