Default Make a dream come true this Ramadan Insha'Allaah

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

This Ramadhan at AlMuhsinaat, we have a dream that we want to make into a reality. A dream that as a community, as an Ummah - we can fulfill insha'Allah. This month is a month of generosity, a month of giving and a month of great virtue. This Ramadhan, we want to transform our own lives as well as the lives of others, insha'Allah.

Please help make this dream come true. We call out to 400 generous donors of this Ummah. 400 Amazing people who want to make a change this Ramadhan. This mailing list has over two thousand in of itself, and thus we believe insha'Allah as a community we don't have to go any further. Those 400 fortunate individuals are being contacted as we speak.

This Ramadhan we have a target of £40 000 for the families of Somalia. The NewLife Project with Ummah Welfare Trust aims to build 100 new homes for 100 families to last a lifetime. Not only will it provide a home for an entire family but it will also provide them with essential necessities they need such as a food package, hygiene kit, Islamic Books/Mushaf, kitchen set, clothing set and more! All the necessities that these families need to re-start their lives insha'Allah.

Remember we may be making their dunya,

    but certainly –

they are helping to make our Akhira!

In this month of generosity, please dig deep insha'Allah.

We need 400 amazing people to donate £100 to make this dream a fruitful reality!

‘The best charity is that given in Ramadhan.’

    – Sunan at-Tirmidhi

A STORY THAT WILL GRIP HEARTS.

"Be the means of solace they search for.
Be the answer to their duas insha’Allah".

Jarir reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said,

"Allah will not show mercy to a person who does not show mercy to other people."

SubhanAllah we have reached the final Jummuah of the first ten days of mercy.

Allah Almighty’s mercy in the month of Ramadhan is so abundant, prevalent and so encompassing. Even the smallest degree of effort in this month is rewarded by Allah Ta’ala so greatly.

This Ramadhan, lets show some mercy towards the rest of creation. Our brothers, our sisters and our children of the ummah. For verily, ‘Allah will not show mercy to a person who does not show mercy to other people.’

Today on this final Jummuah of the first ten days of mercy, we have a target of £7000 to try and fund another 10 homes for 10 families in Somalia . Each home which will be a home for life costs just £700. A price that does not equate to even clothes one may possess. Within a dunya of a billion people, and millions of believers, this target is such a tangible one. Its time for us to extend our mercy onto the children and mothers of our ummah.

The Ummah is one. Its trust is one. Its land is one & its pain is one.

Just recently, we came across an account that truly puts our lives into perspective. It truly makes us realise how much we possess and yet how ungrateful one can be. It showed how few possessions the families in our ummah own and yet how much gratitude and how much faith they had in Allah Most High.

We have transformed it into a little story. Insha’Allah this opens our hearts and encourages us to give. The reality, brothers and sisters – is that your help, your donations, your support will not only benefit these families for the few years we are in this dunya, but it may be the key to your everlasting abode in Jannah. You give them a home in this dunya, they pray for your home in Jannah insha’Allah. Has the time not come for us to invest in our Akhira? Has the time not come for us to show and extend our mercy onto those around us?

Please brothers and sisters, in these hours of Jummuah, in these few remaining days of mercy, show some too insha’Allah.

Help change a life forever. Insha’Allah.

As the sun begins to decline, and Maghrib time is soon to set in, a father prepares Iftaar for his family. A mother by the name of Fatima looks on as she sees her children playing upon the concrete, chiselled ground in front of their home. A ground inundated with cracks due to the failed rains.

A family of 6, all they possess is a temporary shelter made of cloth. A shelter supported by twigs, sticks and straw. A shelter that can crumble with the winds. But a shelter that this family bear no complaints of.

The children run towards their mother searching for a few spare twigs to play with. Their mother, her voice full of love and care, grabs 4 next to her and hands them to her children. They ask for a few more, but their mother explains that the extra are needed to support their home should strong winds arrive. The children, ecstatic, run off to play with what their mother has given them.

As sunset swiftly approaches, Fatima calls out to her children to play for a few more minutes before they have to return back home. She watches on as she sees her four children take one stick each and they disperse into four corners of a square. A game, Fatima has never seen her children play.

She gets up, and walks towards where her children are, the soles of her feet sore from the heat emanating from the roughened concrete ground. She approaches her youngest daughter and asks, Ya Ayesha, what is this game that you are playing with your siblings?’ Ayesha looks up at her mother, and explains,

‘This is our home mummy. And we are the pillars of this home. The sticks mark the boundaries and the sky is our roof. There’s enough space inside this home for us all. And because we are the pillars, no wind, even a strong one can blow us away. You and daddy can sit in the middle. Let’s have our Iftaar here tonight.’

Zaynab, the eldest daughter, looks up at her mum and begins to speak. She says, ‘Mummy, we see you cry everyday to Allah, that Allah takes care of our needs and grants us a strong home, a shelter, a protection - and insha’Allah we know that Allah Will Accept our prayers. But we want you to know, that whatever happens, even if our home disappears as quickly as the wind blows - We are your pillars and we will always look after you. Through times of joy or times of despair, we will always be your pillars of strength. No wind can blow us down Allah Willing. The boundaries of our home may be sticks in this dunya, but insha’Allah Allah will transform these into rows of pearls in the Akhira.

Fatima, looking down at her children, drawn to tears, she embraces them and raises her hands in dua as Iftaar sets in. She prays that Allah Almighty Grants her family a home just like this. She looks up into the horizon, with so much trust in Allah that she knows her Lord will not forsake them. So passionate, she calls upon Allah during these days of mercy, that Allah Most High Showers His Mercy upon them.

Wiping her face, she calls her husband, and the family break their fast as they see the sun setting before them. They split one date amongst the 6 of them and they thank Allah for everything He Has Given them. In the distance they hear the call to prayer. ‘Come To prayer, come to success’.

This Ramadhan, in these few remaining days of mercy, make their duas come true insha’Allah. Be the people who Allah Has Chosen to provide them with the shelter & the protection that they deserve.

Be the means of solace they search for.
Be the answer to their duas insha’Allah.
