You make a mistake.
All politicians shove the line that suits their agenda but George isn't normal.
Having him on Iran's press TV is seriously bad news for Iran.
Because he is pretty much universally hated, it is automatically assumed whoever he speaks for is worthy of the same derision.
Public opinion goes against anything that Galloway supports thus making an attack on Iran more likely than if he were pro Israel.
Same goes for Palestine.

An old woman was the Prophet’s (Peace be upon him) bitter enemy. She would collect garbage and would wait for him to pass through the street and as the Prophet (Peace be upon him) walked by her house, she would throw the garbage on him. He (Peace be upon him) never said a harsh word to her nor did he protest against it. One day he passed by the woman’s house, but no garage fell on him. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) looked up, the old woman was not there. He Knocked and asked for permission to enter. A feeble voice answered, “Come in.” He walked in and found the old woman lying in bed with high fever.
When she realized who her visitor was, the old woman was greatly terrified. She thought the Prophet would punish her for her wrong deed. Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, “Fear not, I am your well-wisher.”
He (Peace be upon him) swept the house clean, fetched water for the old woman and offered her a glass of water. He then gave her medicine and comfort her. She was so impressed by his kindness that she embraced Islam and became a good Muslim.
