I don't really eat meat myself, only on rare occasions and then only specific dishes!
I maintain a lot of the foods that would be culturally associated with a White caucasian of British origin and some that are more regional based foods, passed on from gen to gen.
That said I also like variety, so have spices in my diet, very little oil/fried foods though. I also like a range of "World foods" as many in Western climes tend to favour nowadays - so will make Mexican, Spanish, Greek, Arab dishes etc as well.
Variety's the spice of life as they say.
I think that nowadays very few people stick to only eating the foods associated with their "culture" or ethnicity.
So
in asnwer to your question - what foods do Muslims eat in Britain - all foods!
Of course it is possible.Though I wonder how well it would be received by majority of Muslims - due to their not having a repertoire of foods that would meet this requirement.
Interesitngly I once met a group of pro-veggie Muslims - thatwere trying to convince the Muslim community not to eat meat.
As I said above, I don't really eat meat - and as such it is often to just say I am veggie - simplifies the quesitons as to why don't I eat this and that - and given this it can be hard when you go to some friends' homes to eat....
Not many Pakistani friends serve veg dishes, Indians tend to be better with atleast a daal or veg dish on offer, Arabs tend to atleast have more options on offer in my experience, though I know some that are total carnivores!!! Africans again tend to have had a lack of veg options. (NOTE: purely in my experience to date - am happy to be shown this isn't true for all, iof you would like to send me an invitation!!!)![]()

To be honest, all this bad mouthing ghee. I'm not liking it. Ghee has its place in indian cooking. Problem with indian subcontinent people is they go OTT when using it.
