it's hard to know what to do in these situations if i was the sister i wouldn't take it, i wouldn't wait for someone to tell him i would tell him myself. But obviously if he was drunk and then not in his senses he could get violent but on public transport i still would have at least told him or the driver or just got off and got another bus.
on the few occasions this has happened to me it has been in public so i didn't hold back in telling them where to go. but sadly afterwards i did think it wasn't perhaps the best form of dawah for the nikaab. Some teenagers also had a go this was in Birmingham so i just took the mic out of him. he had really bad spots on his face so i told him he should buy a nikaab and save us looking at this face...loool
either way i don't think it your responsibilitiy really, to try and avoid these things it is best to go out early on in the day and not too much in the summer as people tend to despise the nikaab more in the summer. its like they are hot so they hate you wearing extra layers like it somehow effects how hot they are getting. makes me think they wear so little clothing how can they still be hot?
i was just about to raise this point as far as i'm aware you only need mahrem for a journey where you would go so far as to become a traveller
and nikaab and no nikaab is not the point - which part of your identity are you willing to loose to try and fit in when they won't be happy with you until you leave the deen totally are you prepared to do that for an easy life in the UK?
i thought that not wearing nikaab would make you less of a target but then you are still a target with hijab and jilbab and they are fard so ultimately you loose the reward and still no less likely to get attacked by some idiot.
leaving the country sounds good where would you go?
my friend told me that in egypt they had a nikaab and beard register so you had to register if you were a beard or nikaab wearer....subhan'Allah at aleast in this country only the paedophiles need a register.
maybe some places might still be Islamic in the so called Muslim lands but with the invention of TV satellite systems i doubt anywhere on earth hasn't been influenced by the western culture and ideologies. unless they are still without electricity .

i think its bearded register for only Muslim men to prevent them from becoming extremists. what happens if they then remove the beard are they no longer considered a risk?
its silly and nonsensical that anyone should have to register that they are a Muslim with a beard in a so called muslim country this is what i was trying to show that although some people think that utopia exists in the Muslim lands it really doesn't.
^^^^^
How many of those to whom the 9/11 and 7/7 incidents are attributed actually had beards?
