Israeli and world leaders talk about the Jewish State and the Jewish nature of Israel, one might say that establishing this state was justified for a number of reasons. Regardless of the validity of those justifications, we have ended up with a regime in Israel whose strategic goal is to preserve the Jewish nature of this state. So it is only normal for the Israeli regime to implement policies and measures that would make sure that the majority of the population remains Jewish, and that the majority of the land is owned by Jews. Then, it is only normal that the Israeli regime has to discriminate against Muslims and Christians, especially when it comes to nationality and land ownership, irrespective of their relation to the land. Israeli leaders and politicians realize that if they implement egalitarian policies, this would mean the end of the Jewish state.
Basically, when you want to create and maintain a state for one ethnic-religious group, you are bound to be discriminatory. So next time anyone wants to criticize the apartheid and/or discriminatory Israeli regime, just remember that it is the merely the natural outcome of the pursuing the option of creating a country for only one ethnic-religious group, on a land that has other groups as well.
