Everyone should watch this video to the end, it is very important that we all realise how much things have changed in this country with over political correctness and as the video implies a police state.

We should all know our rights so that we cannot be bullied. OK the video is sort of humerous but actually it is no laughing matter and it is actually starting to feel like the police are not here to protect us any more.

I especially appreciate his points about terrorism. This word has got us all running scared as muslims, we should hold our heads up we are not terrorists.

Serious stuff.

How many of us would dare to get a megaphone and stand in a public place saying Al Queda - terrorst - Mohammed etc?

Would we get arrested?

Is is really very easy to sit in front of computers and comment / say any thing which reminds me of my childhood days the sentence which we used to repeat a number of time.

I did that - *remembers with fond memories*

I didn't get arrested. Well at one point a guy on edgware road called the police on me - and they came over to me but I was whisked away to one side and some brother spoke on my behalf.

I just watched that video - that was so funny!!

I remember getting my flags out in the middle of Edgware road and waving them ...then I turned my attention to a bus load of passengers and started speaking to them about the usual stuff on Palestine. Their faces were great!!! lol

This method is only seen as amusing. Nothing more - and then people go back to their usual routine.

But it's a great release of tension!! lol

It is a funny video but in fact it is a very serious issue. As we muslims know only too well how the perception of terrorism has eroded civil liberties and how USA need to create fear by using Bin Laden and Al Queda to allow them to keep a high presence in lands where they have an economic interest.

In fact the erosion of our civil liberties is a huge huge issue and I really admire people like Chakarabati the director of Liberty who is a constant campaigner on the subject

I don't think 'we muslims' are under any less illusions than any other community.

Many of us don't realise how some have taken our own religion and monopolised it to suit their own economic agendas.

So we can always complain about western media, hidden messages as well but at the end of the day we haven't a leg to stand on when our own leaders are basically doing exactly the same to the muslim community if not worse.

But let's ignore our issues and focus on those of corrupt western regimes - that's the lazy mentality but we do well at it..

In the years I have posted on this forum I am sure that I have never said anything except that most muslim governments are corrupt.

How do you propose the muslims of Egypt for example should change their leader?
