Regardless of it being a sin. Rights are something which everyone has Islamicly and in a secular society.
    Interesting point of view.

I agree that no organization or party is 100% perfect. But what would you rather have? A Political System that is pro-war, pushing through Islamophobic laws and on top of that - - promote Gay rights?

I would rather join a party that is for the working man, who is against terrorist and draconian laws, who stands up for the minority, who is against privatization and in principle against capitalism
. Oh and not to forget Gay rights!!! Who was at the forefront at rallies and against the invasion of Iraq and fighting against the Terrorism Bill?

Of course it offends Muslims about Gay rights. But you have to way up the good points and the bad. And right now – the Respect Party is the way forward. It will be the only political party that will fight for the common man and the Muslim’s who are in no means of being in any position to be fussy.

Labour's Marsha Singh barely has a majority of 3,000 in this constituancy with the Tories close behind.

Any prospective Respect voters will likely be coming over from Labour so you're just effectively electing the Tories in by standing here.

Would much rather see a grass roots movement to support the Lib Dems in this seat - at least they have a chance of winning the seat and are 100 x better than the other 2 major parties.

I agree entirely with this statement - that might be interesting to some people in my ward as I am the Prospective Council Candidate for Respect in Heaton ward, Bradford.

Shariah Rules are very comprehensive and detail clearly what type of rules for which environment. Shariah poses no discrimination against the sexuality of a person in their private life in an area not under Islamic rule - which this isn't! End of story!

I also think the point about taking votes from the Labour Candidate for MP - Marsha Singh and handing them to the Tories is a very important one and one that Bradford Respect would consider with the utmost sensitivity before standing anyone in this constituency for MP.
