    Rogue Restaurants

    Rogue Restaurants

    Thu 14 Aug, 20:30 - 21:00 30 mins

Matt Allwright and Anita Rani take the team undercover in two London Indian restaurants. The undercover reporters find rodent droppings in food preparation areas, cloths and sponges covered in billions of bacteria, and witness uncovered pots of curry sitting around on kitchen floors. They watch as kitchen staff wash their feet, blow their noses and spit in sinks used to wash customers cutlery.

basically the guy is doing absolution in the kitchen sink. Typical stupid mentally of many muslims people, who think they are doing a good thing and yet don't give a toss about where and when they are doing it. So if a sink is used to prepare food, they happily spit and flem and snot the sink, then they will do it.

One is in Brick Lane run by Bengali's. The 2nd is a Sri Lankan place (How Sri Lankan food can be classed as curry or Indian or Asian is beyond me anyway.)

Every restaurant kitchen has to have a sink for the washing of hands that is the law so how do you know that he was making wudu in the same sink that they use for food preparation? I don't know cos I haven't watched it, but as I say it might have been the staff sink he was using.

Watch it on iplayer and see the pots and other stuff around it.

look, its all the tight handed bosses fault, they should have toilet and washroom for the staff. But many, many don't. But you know what I fliped over to More4 and was watching Ramseys Kitchen nightmares and the kitchen it that joint was even more messed up.

But the clifton and it not providing a place for it workers to wash up is an embarcement for the whole of Brick Lane.

There was a definite problem there caused by the Boss - Mr Haque... but not unique to him - especially in areas that employ large numbers of often unqualified Asian Muslims... no facilities were made for the employees, long hours too...

The sink in question was most definitely not a sink meant for wudu!

True that!!! and to think not a single mosque or committee would speck up to point out the explotation of said work force by their muslim brothers.

I herd of mans getting £2:50 an hour and doing 12 shifts... They are illegal and so have to take the crap wage to get the job.

also the Tamil place was much worse in hygiene across the board. But the wudu was not on!!!! Also the council should never let a food business practice if they have not got proper washing area and toilet.

Neither would the masajid committee stand up and say anything about their brothers who sell alcohol.

Not many people willing to promote the good and forbide the evil these days, least of all on the committees

Definitely one of the benefits of the HMC approved label is that one is guaranteed 100% halal food - with no alcohol or ANY haram products on the remises and Iknow for a fact that if there were ever any conce4rns that they were aware of re health, saefety and hygience, they shop them to the council - which is IMO as it should be!

About time some Muslims took responsiblity for the actions of some of these wayward Muslims!
