    Default Ron Paul

He seems to share the same ideas that muslims carry. What are your ideas?

I agree, he seems far and away the best candidate for the Muslim world because he's unequivocaly said he won't engage in any military activities outside the US. He also favours basing the economy on a gold standard.
He's tough on immigration, but who cares, Muslims have no right to immigrate to the US and if they're not getting bombed they wouldn't need to try and escape to the one place which is unlikely to be a target for the USAF

The fact that all the Zionists hate him so much says it all.

    Not Muslims in Kosovo,

Not Muslims who benefit from US foreign aid,

And not Muslims who take issue with associating with far right wing groups who sympathise with Hitler.

I'd say Dennis Kucinich is the best candidate for Prez. Ron Paul has a great Foreign policy strategy, he said the US should not be hypocritical towards Iran and they should allow them to enrich uranium in the peaceful way, which they have been doing.

and Trurel, a third of US foreign aid goes to Israel, not many Muslims benefit from it anyway.

That's been thoroughly debunked. Ron Paul never associated with such people.

Do you have a link on that? I think it might be a third of foreign aid to the Middle East.

Did you ever read the Ron Paul Newsletter?

    Race

"A Special Issue on Racial Terrorism" analyzes the Los Angeles riots of 1992: "Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began. ... What if the checks had never arrived? No doubt the blacks would have fully privatized the welfare state through continued looting. But they were paid off and the violence subsided."

The November 1990 issue of the Political Report had kind words for David Duke.

This newsletter describes Martin Luther King Jr. as "a world-class adulterer" who "seduced underage girls and boys" and "replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration."

The January 1991 edition of the Political Report refers to King as a "world-class philanderer who beat up his paramours" and a "flagrant plagiarist with a phony doctorate."

A February 1991 newsletter attacks "The X-Rated Martin Luther King."

An October 1990 edition of the Political Report ridicules black activists, led by Al Sharpton, for demonstrating at the Statue of Liberty in favor of renaming New York City after Martin Luther King. The newsletter suggests that "Welfaria," "Zooville," "Rapetown," "Dirtburg," and "Lazyopolis" would be better alternatives--and says, "Next time, hold that demonstration at a food stamp bureau or a crack house."
And then there are the pictures....

Ron Paul stood in 88 under the Libertarian ticket, and since then third parties have barely nudged any closer. He will not get the Republican nomination, although he does have notable supporters within the Liberal Conservative movement.

It would be interesting to see if he tries standing for any other party (it will unlikely be Libertarian again, as they already have a presidential bid going, and Unity08 has scaled down its project completely).

believe what you want... Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate fighting against vicious drug laws that are targeted at African Americans. It's a truth that none of you are willing to accept!! Why the heck would someone randomly start using horrible words in their political newsletters unless they were utter idiots who thought they were just plain funny. Also, Dr. Paul had no time for his political newsletter during the time, being a full time doctor, and so if a ghostwriter changed his words, it would make perfect sense. And if you're going to hold that against a man who's never lied for all of his 70 years, than that's sad. John Mccain is accused of having an affair with his current wife when he was still married to his first and for also revealing top secret info as a POW which he refuses to talk about. Obama is accused of voting for the real ID and Patriot acts, and for being in a scandal, which I guarantee you will get out when he wins the nomination, which will automatically send the victory to Mccain, who wants this war for 100 years. Hillary voted for the patriot act and the war. Who else... Huckabee... he wants all palestinians to be kicked out of palestine and sent to the surrounding neighbor-lands where they will "be accepted."

Hey I am easy to convince, I have no axe to grind and no US affiliation...the problem is the newsletter, the pictures, the interviews openly available saying about locking up black males.

It doesn't look good to me as a neutral.

On the forums I read though the US people, particularly of Black origin don't seem enthused to put it mildly.

Thanks, I have looked at the figures and they include $5 billion of unused loan gaurantees, so it distorts the figures dramatically.

Still way too much of course given I don't think they should have any.
