Dark Knight, Can you ask how your mum made the pie? How did she make the gravy /sauce?
I had egg on toast and some mash and all washed down with a nice cup of tea.

Salaamz,
I had delicious pathani parathas with cream and honey and milk, with a cuppa tea. I have an eleven yr old daughter who is a fussy eater, the younger one eat parathas etc but this one she'll be opening and closing fridge n cupboard doors in the morning and refusing everything. She ends up eating like a chocolate or something!
Word of advise to those who claim they can't eat anything so early..... set ur alarm clocks an hour earlier, wake up, make wudhu and pray 8/12 rakaats of Tahajud (ideal time to make duaa), in the darkness of the night. Not only will u get the immense rewards Inshallah- u'll work up quite an appettite!
I can't believe how many people have like a full 3 course dinner at suhr time. Maybe I need to get my brain to think dinner rather than breakfast! and all that fatty/high cholestrol food is surley bad for you.
Anyway this morning I had 2 slices of wholemeal bread with a light spread of jam and a cup of coffee.
( Hmmph!!....had to go back upstairs AGAIN to wake my wife and daughter up who had fallen asleep.)
Chocolate chip cookies and milk today![]()

i asked mum and this is what she said:
the pastry is the same as samosa pastry but with a little extra butter
the filling is wahtever you want, for example meat and potatoe is samll pieces of lamb and mince with potatoes and onions
just lightly fry your onions and add everything else together with water. let it simmer slowly
seasoning is salt and black pepper, as for gravey, you can buy beef, lamb and chicken stock cubes from most halal supermarkets
i hope that helps.

Too many people burping LOUDLY during Tharawee!
The Imam kindly reminded us with an etiquette, that we should keep one third of our stomachs for the food, one third for the water, and one third for your breath.
Needless to say, alhumdullilah, there was a lot less burping the next day!!!
I had three small slices of toasts (wholemeal bread) with little bit of beans and lots of water.
For some reason now I'm feeling really really sick....![]()

Nevermind eh! it will all be worth it on that day! and only 5 more days at work before 2 weeks annual leave!![]()
Sometimes I get cravings for a cup of tea at work....![]()
