Thanks to a great tool called Megaphone created by Israeli students of GIYUS.org (Which stands for Give Israel Your United Support) we can counteract their activism.

So far they’ve had over 25,000 downloads of this little piece of software, that’s a huge amount of Israelis taking part. Anyhow I’ve managed to download the software so you don’t have to, who know what spyware it hides in your computer after the Israeli owned ZoneAlarm firewall software was found sending anonymous encrypted data back to four servers, all hosted in Israel.

Anyhow, every two days or so they send a message prompting users to e-mail/ respond to certain groups/ organisation/ news channels etc that criticise Israel weather it be in regards to illegal lands grabbing, Israel’s defeat in Lebanon or exposing their hidden agendas. Every few days users get a prompt that looks like this:



So this is our chance to counteract their hard work, Every alert I received I’ll post up here. They make it very easy for their users to act, they always provide an e-mail address, and some points to make clear to the recipients (similar to MPAC), All we have to do it counteract it, Very Easy!

PS beware when you click on the link provided you will have to put the “tt” in the hxxp:\\ address. This avoids unnecessary hits to their site from MPACUK.

GIYUS.org are encouraging their users to voice their disappointment at Salvador’s decision to relocate Costa Rica’s embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv. GIYUS.org are responding to Tony Saca’s decision as “surrendering to terrorism”.

Israel says all of Jerusalem is its "undivided and eternal capital." It captured Arab East Jerusalem in 1967 and annexed it in a move not recognized internationally.

Let counteract this, at least they’re moving out of Jerusalem and relocating to Tel Aviv.

Chavez carries a lot of political clout in S america. el salvador and hugo chavez have links. also the president of el salvador is a descendant of a plestinian christian. so no worries...

i think this sort of tool has a short life .... ppl get tired of all the alerts...but for time being since its a new tool all the ppl well b up for making as many complaints....so we shouldnt sit bk an we should counter ther alerts....come ppl..we are attacked from many fronts...some say the jews are only 5o or 60 million..but there energy an unity is second to none..

Firstly, JazakAllah Khair for these action alerts its a really great idea.

I have participated in all the other action alerts, but in this case, I am purposefully not going to vote, because I don't think the Palestinian cause will be furthered by a yes or no vote in this case. In addition, (despite Europe's so called free speech) the holocaust deniers are in general a bunch of racist neo-Nazi's akin to the BNP and Front national

Thanks for your reply. As I have said these polls are always liable to be distorted and it is beyond our control to ensure each one is a true reflection of public opinion. However in this case the poll is now completely meaningless so it has been taken down. I hope that sets your mind at rest.

They are encouraging several thousand people (they hope soon 100,000) to vote in a pre-designated way. They do not simply say here is a poll, here is an article - they tell you how to respond to the poll or article.

This means that your poll is artificially distorted. And would you have even known?

You cannot completely control how your poll will be reported - it has the BBC brand in it and people will respect it.

I would ask you to speak to the editor and to the BBC legal team about the integrity of this poll and would ask you to close it due to the fact that it will be inaccurate or to add a disclaimer to the poll results that it was targetted by Hasbara,

Thanks for your email. I am aware about this situation. I had a look at their site and all they have done is encouraged their members to vote on the polls which seems legitimate to me. It would also be extremely difficult to prevent groups of people voting in this way. As our polls are not used for any scientific or academic purpose I don’t see the problem.
