Fresh from uni, and heavy with debt, I never seemed to make any savings at end of each month - in fact, the money was being used to pay off my massive bank overdrafts... But within three months I was on top of all my expenditure and now alhamdulillah.....

You just tell them to not put interest into your account.....
duh!
