Islamic leisure Ltd is an up and coming leisure provider in the UK focusing on the needs of the Muslim community. Many of the leisure facilities in the UK are unsuitable for Muslim use due to the presence of alcohol, music & gambling onsite to name just a few of the Muslims concerns. We at Islamic leisure aim to liaise with existing leisure providers and arrange environments that are conducive to Islamic regulations whilst retaining the 'fun factor'. The ultimate aim is to fill the void in the arena of Halal leisure for Muslims.

Isnt this Haram?

- Brothers and Sister should never mix let alone be mentioned in the same sentence
- as Muslims we should not have fun
- our money is going to a kufr enterprise
- the Prophet never went to "leisure parks"

I'm dissapointed with you Abu Ali

abu_ali 16-06-2006 04:22 PM

as far as im aware its gonna be segregated... who said we should not have fun???
the prohet used to have lough and joke with his family and coompanions..
as long as it does not involve free mixing.. or music its ok..

but it costs £27 which is too much

man im so sorry to disappoint you.. feel bad... :(

I went Alton Towers (Alton Minarets???) a few years back. It was loads of fun, lol. Me and my friends had a proper water fight right at the beginning. This was on the Log ride, we were scooping up water with our hands and throwing it on eachother. We were completely soaked, and it rained ALL day, lol. It was still a great day tho.

Would highly recommend it. :D :D

I wouldn't personally go to Alton Towers - I have been when I was at school, but not know - I like a more peaceful and relaxing environment!!!

Perfect reason for everyone else to cancel going then! :p
Its such a rip off! you end up waiting in the queue for about 2 hours just to get on the rides!

Medievalist 16-06-2006 07:23 PM
looks like alton towers wont be short of Zoo animals that day then! :p

those that are going best bring protective gear...be like a safari walk!
Why are you going aswell? I dont think you can go on much though - save the log flute. You'll dehydrate on other rides.

[B]whats the point of this event but a money making scheme?

well all you had to do was book as a muslim big family really yeah? and keep your family segregated for the day

cause you dont gamble anyway,

dont drink anyway,

eat vegetarian anyway, or bring your own meaty halal sandwiches,

read namaz anywhere anyway, take a prayer matt,

the only thing good about this event is no music. but are they really going to swicth of the rides for you that have thier own polyphonic music tunes going?

no way! this event is a money making thing. the only reason why most of you are happy is cause the word "muslim" was popped in

its really sad that alton towers thinks that muslims cant even stand next to a alcohol vendor tut whats the point

why dont they promise to cloak all the naked men and women too

those of you whom have already expressed your views in other threads dont know what the hells going on
