Liddle's war on Muslims II

From the Spectator. Rod Liddle suggests that postal vote fraud is most likely in Labour consituencies with Muslim councillors and lots of Muslim voters. Well he's right about the potential for fraud in a currently Labour constituency with lots of Muslim voters. Oona King is a Labour MP for Bethnal Green and she has invited people to send her. their postal votes so that she. can forward them tot he Town Hall for the count. She has lots of Muslim voters in her constituency. The problem for the Liddle "argument" (for which read "racist slur") is that not many Muslims are expected to vote for Oona King. There's another problem for Liddle in that, whilst the politics of the last electoral atrocity points a finger at some Muslims, the last one before that, that I know of, involved the use of multiple identities "based" at a yeshiva in Hackney. I don't draw any essentialist points from that though. Only the lowest form of racist scumbag would do such a thing.

The accusations of postal vote fraud are aimed at the elders who want to protect the Labour vote. The reason this is being done is because Labour can no longer trust Muslims to vote for them.

Other Muslims, such as MPAC UK, aren’t so impressed by his political favours, and want him out. They point out that there are 25,000 Muslims in Blackburn, and his majority is only 9,000. You can say what you like about the tone of this group’s website (I have, many times, in the past), and about whether Murray is really the man for the job. Here we have a group which is running a campaign to unseat an MP they see as detrimental to the affairs of the Muslim community, rather than the Gujaratis or some biraderi or other. Such campaigns may be undermined if local voters are induced to follow their tribal loyalties, rather than their conscience.

ermm what? Yusuf Smith is a revert brother with the blog www.blogistan.co.uk gresat blog however he really doesnt like MPACUK has practically never said anything positive about us so i was just voicing my appreciation that he almost said something nice above...
