My my. On the one hand I am super pleased with the alleged efforts and campaigning MPAC have been doing, don't want to question the authenticity of, umm, 100,000 leaflets just in Ilford against Mike Gapes. But on the other hand, I think I sense a hypocritical stance by MPAC - - - Read on.....

Gapes, Straw and Oona POO King are the names I have soooo often been hearing on this website and very gladly too as they are misrepresenters with policies worse then scums. But how about MP STEPHEN TIMMS!!!!???? Why is there no mention of him?

Stephen Timms has the *3rd* largest majority of voters in the country. Yet on 18th March 2003 when the crunch time vote took place, Timms voted *for war* in Iraq. He totally misrepresented the people that put him in power.

Before this upsetting vote, the largest march against a local MP,Stephen Timms took place to change his view on war. Still, taking the Muslim vote for granted, Timms voted for the war.

Lets also remind ourselves that East Ham has the 4th highest Muslim population per constitutency! It is therefore VITAL that websites who give themselves such a noble name (=MPAC) do justice to what they allegedly stand for and campaign against scum like Stephen Timms, the butcher of East Ham.

I fail to understand why he is not mentioned on this website which is supposed to "politize our people" !! Anyone explain please!?

Due to limited resources MPACUK are concentrating on key marginals and where they have sufficient evidence against the sitting MP. Besides, it's quality not quantity that matters - there's more chance of unseating a few strongly Zionist MPs than many MPs who simply voted for the war. How many MPs voted for the war? Is MPACUK going to campaign against all of them? Where are the funds and people gonna come from.

However, thanks for the info. Stephen Timms setup Muslims for Labour and acted as Chair until it stabilised and is now chaired by Mohamed Sarwar. I assume you live in East Ham. So why not you and your friends join the Labour Party and deselect him if you feel strongly. It's too late for this election.

Failing that, why not you and your friends join MPACUK and setup a team that can campaign against your local MP? If East Ham has the 4th largest Muslim population per constituency, why haven't they got a Muslim candidate? Is it because they didn't bother to join ANY political party or they being prevented from joining by racists?

Don't split the Muslim vote, join one party and select a Muslim Candidate, then support him/her to the hilt and ensure they're elected. As I said before, it's too late for this election but the future's bright. MPACUK plans for the long-term. We want to make efficient use of resources.
