From the website of B'tselem: the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights.

http://www.btselem.org./english/Firearms/20050202_Jag_Investigations.asp
Since the beginning of the al-Aqsa intifada, the IDF has opened only 90 Military Police investigations into Palestinians killed and injured, although soldiers have killed at least 1,694 Palestinians who did not take part in hostilities, including 536 minors. These investigations led to the filing of only 29 indictments. Only one soldier has been convicted of causing the death of a Palestinian. These statistics are not accidental. Rather, they are a result of the IDF's intolerable disregard for Palestinian life, as reflected in the open-fire regulations which encourage a trigger-happy attitude among soldiers, and its policy to cover up and refrain from investigating the killing of civilians.

Such is the conduct of the 'most moral army' in the world.

No doubt Sin will lay in with examples of atrocities committed by Arabs which of course make all of the above perfectly palatable to him..oh well...

Actually I wont, becuase no matter how you try to portay me as a supporter of shooting children, I am fully in agreement that anyone who purposely murders kids should face the full wrath of justice.

Which there isn't on the Palestinian side is there.

Did I tell you about my brothers experience with Palestinians?

Let me remind you of just ONE example of 'justice'.

One a checkpoint, just him and his commander, late at night.
A palestinian girl runs toward them, she's holding out a 12" kitchen knife and my brother thinks - as you probably are - that she's had enough, maybe lost her son, her house etc and wants to kill him.

A warning shot is fired in the air or ground - but she carries on. She means business. My brother is now confused. The commander also

She 's getting close, ignoring the shouts of the two soldiers who are now in a serious situation.

As she gets within 10 meters, they notice two other males running up behind her. They're Arab and may well be a second wave.

By now, the woman is within lunging distance, the commander her takes her down in a Judo hold, she's hysterical.

They go through her bag - maybe there's a bomb, whatever. The two Arab males are getting closer, but my brothers gun, and there hands aloft ensure that violence is not their agenda - not for my brother anyway.

The lady is sobbing as they pull a photo of her boyfriend from her belongings. She expalins through her tears that the two men behind her were her own family and that she was going to get a good going over from them. Boiling water over her face and breasts for starters, death to follow.

A sister killing had been averted, but not before she was crazed enough to hope that the IDF would put her out of her misery quickly.

Is this the kind of culture that you admire?. Is this the platform from which you espouse justice?

talk about changing the subject!!! does the conduct of one unfortunate family justify all the oppression that the occupation hands out to millions? Does it mean all Arabs all Muslims are like this and we should leave you to carry on with the killing of children, demolishing of houses, land-grabbing, ethnic cleansing etc???

I bet you think your brother is some sort of hero standing at a check point helping Palestinians not hindering them!!! Ive seem men liek your brother at check points ive see them work over Palestinian men jsut trying to get to work and point guns at children-ye im sure it makes you proud!! Typical Zionists warped mentality. lol

I'm not changing the subject at all. I'm trying to get a fix on your abstraction of justice. And why you have to rely on the West's version of it when slagging Israel - isn't the Arab model good enough?
