A 16-year-old Asian youth was stabbed in the arm as disturbances involving 200 people flared following attacks on cars parked at a mosque.

Police said the attacks were racially motivated, and extra officers were patrolling the Avenham area of Preston.

Your 100% right brother however i think as muslims we have become acustomed to blaming others for your problems.

Yes America is a pain in the rear with its "democracy and freedom" however we need to look at ourselves and as an ummah rectify our mistakes and deal with our issues instead of passing the buck.

Look at the Taliban as example. Not everyone may agree with them but have they not put the rest of the ummah to shame?

Just the other day i was watching a report on BBC news 24 where they were asking afghans what their opinions on the Taliban were and All of them said they may have not agreed with their methods but there was more security and stabilty under their rule.

Yes it is quite bad here I hear the mosque which is comprised of Indian Muslims is in the midst of a nasty council estate and they face attack on a daily basis. The poor brother who was shaheed was also from the same community.

He said the NWFP was beautiful but one of the most terrifying places he had ever been to. He went on and said that assault rifles and masses of heavy weaponry were being carried from old aged people to young kids with the most intimidating being the big Pushtoon men who as he described had fierce looks on their faces and have enough firepower to level a village. He would never make eye contact with anyone but said during his trips there he found them to be very hospitable and eventually learned to relax a little.

Anyhow it's true Pushtoons make great friends as quite a few of my life long pals are but are also the most proficient of warriors.
