Is it just me or does anyone else thing it was wrong to trial Zardad at the Old Bailey under British law and not international law. The verdict has come back as a hung jury and with his supporters having now issued a threat to behead anyone linked to the presecution case, the most likely people to be dead within the month are the poor Afghans that risked their lives by giving video evidence via the British embassay in Afghanistan. I think some hot shot policitician or prosecutor wanted to make a name for him/herself by trialling him under British law for war crimes....and making history in the process, when anyone with any sense knows he should be trialled under international in an international court. A domestic criminial justice system isn't equipped to deal with war criminals.
Another example of the English making false promises and screwing people over I think.
What does everyone else think?
